Signs of love… 💛

I found this agate druzy heart while cleaning up under the passenger seat of Jason’s car after the accident.
I asked him, and he lets me keep it. I will put it in my collection in my living room showcase, to remind me of our interactions and how valuable life is! We have known each other only for a year, but it feels like so much longer!
The things you go through and the connections make in this process mean so much more than any material things could ever be.

And this reminds me also of how emotional items in my collection mean so much more to me than specimens I have bought. I am getting less and less attached to pieces in my collection of purchased agates. They might be as great as any agates could be, but only have a material value to me, although they look so nice.

I like to enjoy them for a year or two, but then if someone visits and falls in love, I feel much more joy of passing on the joy to them and admiring it.

Maybe that’s also part of what makes me a good dealer. Not being too attached to my stones, although I love them.
They may have been part of my collection at some point, but I’d rather pass on the joy.
