Wow! We did It! We successfully pulled off 4 snapshot musicals and an encore song in only 8 days!!
The students danced, sang, and acted their hearts out this afternoon for a solid 35 minutes!!
There was action, suspense, heartfelt songs, and tons of laughter!
Thank you to everyone who came out and/or helped out!! Thanks to Funhouse movement theater and the Paulo Freire Freedom School - University for your generosity in making this session possible!
Your children continue to inspire me with their passion, talents and dedication!
Can't wait for next summer!!
Enjoy your summer magic makers!!

Day 2 was music to our ears!!
We have quite an impressive and diverse group of musicians with us this summer...
We created ensembles, performed a score, created a music web, and jammed to our favorite tunes today!
At the Studio artists began writing the first element vignette: Earth. We are introducing the Goddess Nia, healer of the Earth. The role for our villian will be played by none other than all things Global Warming. And the role for our S/hero goes to EPA (Environmental Protection Agency). There's quite a battle developing...
Several musicians have even begun composing original songs.
There's so much more story to be written and songs to be sung. Stay tuned...
