In 2004 she began providing complimentary Reiki sessions at her Wellness Center to ambulatory patients being treated for life-threatening diseases. Her desire to touch more lives grew so in June of 2006 Ms. Mease answered “Yes” when invited to join the volunteer staff at a local hospital and give Reiki sessions to cancer patients. An uncharted journey of hope, love, joy, and purpose began as her labor of love continued. The Program evolved exponentially through three hospital administrations over the next ten years. Over 7000 Reiki sessions were provided by Mega and her volunteer staff. Today, Mega leads her group of Volunteer Practitioners who provide an array of holistic modalities. These sessions are available at the Center for Advanced Energy Therapeutics
