I can’t stress Timing Belt maintenance enough. This 03 VW Beetle has 96K. The belt should have been done at 60K along with water pump. We made a good call suggesting it be changed. They’re sending there kid to California this weekend. I doubt this belt would have made the drive, making this a $1500+ repair if it would have broken.

If your one of my Customers that gets up one morning, gets off of work, and walks out to your Mopar/ Dodge/ Chrysler / Jeep to find it doesn't start? Instrument Cluster and power to all accessories is Okay. It just doesn't crank! Possible cause....? WDM Lockup (Wireless Control Module) due to electrostatic discharge from the ignition key. This condition may occur more frequently in Cold/Dry weather conditions. A quick fix is to disconnect your Battery for 12secs and then see if the vehicle starts.
So my advice beyond this? No fluffy shoes on carpet and don't drag your feet when you leave your desk.
