Speaker: Ms. Mary Jackson Named Lecture 2023
Mary Jackson's story features in the 2016 non-fiction book Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Who Helped Win the Space Race. She is one of the three protagonists in Hidden Figures, the film adaptation released the same year.

This webinar is a part of the annual Mary Jackson Lecture Series hosted by the Royal Aeronautical Society and the AIAA Diversity Working Group. We are delighted to welcome Dr Jason Maroothynaden MRAeS.

Dr Jason Maroothynaden MRAeS
Jason is an internationally experienced early-stage venture builder, and investor deeply involved in the space industry. While at ESA, Jason headed up access to finance in particular working in partnership with Venture Capital and Business Angel funds, occasionally for co-investment opportunities.
