Two including National Mountain Guide Bista die taking death toll to 18 in spring season - The Himalayan Times The deaths take the toll on different mountains to 18 this season after two more climbers died on Mt Everest and Mt Makalu on Friday, according to the expedition officials.

Despite assurances from expeditions and government, a ‘traffic jam’ on Everest kills climbers again Though a fixed climbing timetable was supposed to reduce overcrowding on Everest, climbers were forced to wait for hours on the ascent and descent.
