While I understand this isn’t the affordable secondhand we are known for, I’m excited to start offering more for all budgets.

✨You’ll find Woolly Fern in this little pop-up shop space playing Enya, burning incense, and talking to people about death, humanity, and antiques.

This has been such an enjoyable day hitting the ground again to spread the word about my mission for Woolly Fern to become a community resource to assist with burial expenses for our local Tucson community.

It’s quite fascinating how much people want to talk about death once you create a safe space to do so.

Connecting locals with amazing and affordable secondhand items, antiques, and oddities while using the funds to help create death with more dignity just makes sense in my brain.

🤦‍♀️🫣I haven’t set up at someone else’s event in such a long time and always wondered why I was the last one to pack out.

As I’m watching the back lot at the shop begin to look like a nursery of faux trees this afternoon, I asked if it was a bit much. The resounding response was that it’s me. 😂

Luckily, this fun little installation pop-up shop at the brand new First Avenue Flea is here to stay and you’ll find us permanently in this location. Stick around and see how much it changes and develops each month as I can spend more time building it out.
