Miners Story Project
The Miners Story Project is a digital oral history project dedicated to preserving and sharing the history and heritage of underground mining - especially copper mining - in the Southwest. Based at the University of Arizona Mineral Museum, the MSP has collected over 350 interviews, digitized archival photos, and shared this rich history through exhibits, presentations, and web content.

Some of you may remember this one from the exhibit kiosk in the Arizona State Museum's "Set In Stone" exhibit, or from the Bisbee exhibit at the Flandrau Science Center. Still a great story. Enjoy!

It has been a year since we've posted any new content here. But now, thanks to Annamarie Schaecher we're processing all the Miners Story Project "digital stories" that have been sitting unseen on hard drives and we'll be releasing them on YouTube and Facebook - one video a week until we run out. Thanks Annamarie!
