Ahimsa House

It's a sad day at Ahimsa House! Today is our last day with our Community Services Coordinator, Oné, before she heads off on her next adventure!!

If you’ve met Oné at an outreach event, conference, meeting, or the Celebration, chances are she left you with the biggest smile! Oné first joined our team in 2019 as a Community Outreach Intern, and we were thrilled when she joined the staff full-time in 2022 to serve as our Community Services Advocate. She has been a passionate, dedicated, and effective advocate for human and animal survivors AND a spectacular representative of Ahimsa House in the community. She brings so much light to work that is often challenging and we will miss her presence deeply!

However, we are thrilled that Oné gets to return home to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she’ll finish graduate school and put her compassion and talent to work serving the community in which she grew up.

To our supporters, Oné says: “Thank you all for being a part of the wonderful memories that I have made in Atlanta. Ahimsa House will always have a special place in my heart!”
