🌟 Celebrating success in advanced manufacturing! 🔨
The Office of Workforce Development and Community Education recently hosted a special ceremony to celebrate the latest graduates of the Advance 2 Apprenticeship® program. This milestone event honored 10 dedicated adult learners for their successful completion of the pre-apprenticeship initiative, featuring remarks from faculty, regional economic leaders and employer partners who continue to support the next generation of the manufacturing workforce.

Advance 2 Apprenticeship® is a no-cost program offered in partnership with the Center for Economic Growth and the Capital Region Workforce Development Board. It provides essential skills for careers in advanced manufacturing through hands-on technical instruction. To ensure student success, the program also removes common barriers by providing support services like childcare, transportation assistance, tutoring and work attire.

We are so proud of these graduates and the hard work they have put into reaching this achievement! See more from the ceremony: https://portfolio.hvcc.edu:8095/advance_2_apprenticeship_completion_ceremony_7-1-2026/ #/
