When I first opened this corner cabinet, I thought the green bases on these pink depression glasses were just reflections from the uranium glass on the shelf below… but nope. They’re actually green. And they’re fabulous. And I am officially obsessed.
Fun fact: apparently some Depression‑era glassmakers experimented with unexpected color combos to stand out in crowded catalogs.

Rainy‑day packing vibes over here… The kind where everything feels a little softer and the good decisions shine through. This couple has been so thoughtful about what makes the cut, and you can feel the calm when you walk in the room. One steady step at a time, their next chapter is taking shape.

If I could give one piece of advice to anyone considering a move, it would be this: Do it on your own terms. With clarity. With support. With a plan that honors your life, your pace, and your next chapter.
And that’s exactly what I had the privilege of helping with this week.
After 56 years in their home, this dynamic mother–daughter duo chose to rightsize with intention. Preparing for the future in a way that felt grounded, thoughtful, and fully theirs. We walked the home together, room by room, choosing the most practical and meaningful pieces to bring. I measured the new space, mapped out the layout, and once the essentials were set, she treated herself to the perfect new sofa to make the space feel like home.
Yesterday, our team came in to pack and prepare everything for the movers. This morning, the move went off without a hitch. Every box, every detail, every placement… all handled. By this afternoon, their new home was fully set up, cozy, functional, and ready for them to simply live.
They told us more than once that we were angels and that they couldn’t have done it without us. But the truth is, they did something so incredibly brave: they chose their future on their own terms. We just made sure they never had to walk it alone 💕
Everything is moved. Everything is placed. Everything is ready.
And I love that for them.

What an absolutely beautiful weekend. The sunshine, the conversations, the surprise plant admiration… all of it felt like a little gift.
And listen… I’m calling it now: We’re going to see a lot more yucca plants popping up around Upstate next season. So many folks stopped by the sale, pointed at these tall, dramatic beauties, and said, “Wait… What is THAT?”
There’s something so fun about watching a plant trend spark right in someone’s front yard.
If you spotted something this weekend that inspired you… a plant, a project, a “maybe it’s time to tackle that corner of the garage” moment 📣 Tell me below. And if you want first dibs on future finds, make sure you’re following the MT Marketplace so you don’t miss the next treasure hunt.
Thanks for a wonderful weekend to all our friends!

People think estate clean outs are chaotic.
But sometimes they’re calm, structured, and full of small wins… one room, one box, one decision at a time.
My job isn’t to rush you.
It’s to make the process feel doable, dignified, and even a little lighter 💁🏻♀️
If you’re staring at a space that feels too big to tackle, I’d love to walk it with you.

Every so often, we meet an item with a story that deserves to keep going. This tropical orchid has been lovingly tended by one family for generations, passed from hand to hand, home to home 🏠 As its current caretaker begins a new chapter, she’s ready to finally let this heirloom find its next good steward. If you believe in the magic of things that have been cherished, this one is ready for you. Available at this weekend’s estate sale for the right person who feels the pull.
There’s just something about walking into a space filled with stories… and this place is bursting with them! So bright, so cheerful, and shelves for every age and every kind of reader.
If you’re doing a little rightsizing at home, they happily accept book donations in shop and they’ve got convenient drop boxes around the area for quick, no‑stress drop‑offs.
The Bulk Book Warehouse is a community gem…. Keeping books in circulation and out of the landfill. My kind of neighbor 📚💛
