Instead they are looking for reasons like seeking more challenges, opportunities for advancement, promotions, or growth. Other valid reasons include reducing commute time or wanting hybrid or remote work.

So when asked why you want to leave your current job, consider responding with: "I noticed a position at your company that matches my qualifications. While I've not actively looking and am satisfied in my current role, the chance to work for a renowned company like yours and the hybrid nature of the job are very appealing to me."

Or you could say, "I've gained a lot of experience at my current company, but there are limited opportunities for promotion. I thrive on challenges, learning new skills, and honing my existing ones. Therefore, I'm looking for a new position that offers upward mobility."
