ADOPTED! Jose the Tuxedo Cat was recently adopted. When first rescued in Troy with the help of MARIA! Jose went into Fostering and cared for by PAT! for over 6 weeks. In addition, he was treated for fleas and groomed regularly by MARYJO! and than transported for his veterinary care. On May 6th Jose went to his new home that he will share with a kitten & older dog! Another one saved by Pet Care Volunteers :) Thats all she wrote!!

"Clover a male was rescued on March 17th 2022 Saint Patrick's Day and that's how he got his name!
On March 21st he received proper medical care all his vaccinations and was fixed.
Clover is a long-haired cat and due to so many knots he had to be shaved and placed in long term foster care until all his hair grows back so his adoption will have to wait.
This guy is sooo friendly he will have no trouble getting a forever home :)

TODAY"S RESCUE "Sonny" UPDATE: 10/7/2021 SONNY ADOPTED :)
Abandoned and living outdoors for a long time!
Ticks and Fleas are common this time of year on pets and Sonny was no exception!
Sonny also has a serious infection going on in his fascial features lots of swollen and puffed up! His Vet appointment is on Oct. 5th :)

We haven't named her yet however she is a mother-to-be and goes to her longer term foster home on Sunday! It isn't so easy rescuing pregnant cats off the streets, they can't be flea treated with chemicals so unless they are friendly all you can do is flea comb them which we do! also they have to isolated from other cats which means they need to be cared for in a room of there own! all necessary requirements for a safe rescue. Within a short time we expect her to give birth to any number of baby kittens and that's another big responsibility. They will remain in a foster home for the next 8 weeks until the kittens are eating on their own!! Then the big job of finding good homes! So if your looking to adopt a kitten or the mamma cat let us know early on also Pet Food Donations are Welcomed she likes eating "Fancy Feast" because she deserves the best! Today Rescue took place in Albany's South End!
90 Degree heat brought us an abandoned cat rescue in 20 minutes!
Presently resting in a cool foster home with plenty of water and food :)
June 1st is scheduled date to receive proper medical care at the APF in Scotia!

Today's Rescue in Albany South End!

St. Patrick's Day Rescue :)
Today I returned to Albany South End empty lots. I managed to capture this beauty and named her "Patty"
Patty is resting comfortable and safely off the streets.
Patty will need a home soon after we have her spayed and vaccinated.
