🦺 A Voc Hab group traveled to Menards today for a hands-on lesson in workplace safety clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
From high-visibility hats, gloves, and coats to safety glasses, respirators, and hard hats, the group identified and discussed the unique purpose of each item. They did an amazing job learning how the right gear keeps workers safe on the job! 👷‍♂️🔧

When the weather didn’t cooperate for an outdoor cookout, the Venice and Moscow groups got creative and utilized one of our community hubs to keep the fun going indoors! ☔💙 They enjoyed a delicious indoor cookout, played balloon tennis 🎈🏓, tried their hand at bean bag toss, and even learned how to cut up a watermelon 🍉

A rainy day didn’t stop the fun, teamwork, and laughter!

They take pride in keeping the bathrooms clean, the lobbies spotless and mopped, and making sure there is always toilet paper stocked and seating areas cleaned for everyone’s comfort. 🚻✨ Even on cloudy days, they enjoy heading outside to keep the parking lots and truck lots free of trash and sticks 🌳🧹 One of their favorite parts of the job is greeting everyone who walks through the doors with a friendly smile 😊

RT has proudly operated these contracts since 1981, and as part of the contract, 65% of the hours worked are completed by individuals with disabilities, creating meaningful employment opportunities and community impact every day 💙

📦💙 Giving Back with New Path! 💙📦

Every second Friday of the month, a dedicated group volunteers with New Path to help deliver food boxes to families in the community 🙌

The group picks up the boxes at the Bethany Center in Piqua and delivers them to approximately 8–12 homes each month. We are proud of their commitment to serving others and making a positive difference in the community through kindness and teamwork 💙
