Ted Lindsay Foundation
Founded in 2001 by hockey legend Ted Lindsay, the foundation fosters inclusion, acceptance and advocacy by supporting local educational, community and research programs.
๐ Did you know?
The Ted Lindsay Foundation HOPE Center was created through a partnership between the Ted Lindsay Foundation and Corewell Health to provide behavioral support and hands-on education for families navigating autism and developmental disorders.
HOPE stands for Hands-On Parent Education, empowering parents and caregivers with the tools, resources, and support they need to help their children thrive.
This is one of the many ways the Ted Lindsay Foundation continues to impact lives and support families throughout our community.

"Lead by example, others will follow."
โ Ted Lindsay
Ted Lindsay believed that true leadership starts with action. Every day, we see that spirit in the individuals, families, advocates, and supporters who help create a more inclusive world for those impacted by autism.

๐ Courage comes in many forms.
Sometimes it's taking on a new challenge. Sometimes it's finding your voice. Sometimes it's showing up every day and refusing to let obstacles stand in your way.
At the Ted Lindsay Foundation, we're honored to meet incredible individuals with autism whose strength, determination, and perseverance inspire everyone around them. That's why we created the Ted Lindsay Foundation Courage Awardโto recognize and celebrate those remarkable individuals and their stories.
Do you know someone who embodies courage? Someone who has overcome challenges, achieved something meaningful, or continues to inspire others through their resilience and spirit?
We'd love to hear their story.
