Our first meeting will be held on August 30th from 8-10pm in Ricketts. Enter through the front doors (facing the '86 field) and head upstairs to the 2nd floor where we will have someone directing everyone to the room. We will be giving a quick introductory presentation to the club then we'll head upstairs for a lab tour and a glider design challenge!
RPI Design Build Fly had a windy but smooth and successful Mission 1 flight this year in Wichita, KS at the AIAA Design Build Fly competition. We were unable to attempt Missions 2 and 3 due to weather delays, but are pleased to have placed 42nd out of 91 teams, an improvement on last year and an important stepping stone for years to come.
The academic year has come to a close and it is now summer break! Congratulations to all the DBF members who will soon be graduating and best wishes on your future pursuits!
Have a great summer!!
