Troy High School

The Troy City Schools will dismiss 2 hours early on Friday, April 19.

Troy High School students who attend the Upper Valley Career Center will also dismiss 2 hours early on Friday.

Dismissal Times are:
** Van Cleve Sixth Grade Building – 12:25 p.m.
** Troy High School, Troy Junior High School, UVCC students – 12:40 p.m.
** Concord, Cookson, Forest, Heywood, Hook, Kyle – 1:30 p.m.

The purpose of the early dismissal is to allow for professional development for our staff members. Staff members will work with one another, as well as outside resources, to improve the educational experience for students.

Professional development is required for all educators under Ohio Administrative Code Rule 3301-24-06.

Having a professional development day does NOT mean fewer hours for students. They will still attend the same number of school hours as they always have, as professional development days/hours are built into the calendar.

The Troy City Schools will be on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 17
