Congratulations, Class of 2026! ❤️🤍🎓

This year, the RPI Lally School of Management celebrated 211 graduates, including the first graduating class of our new Finance and Marketing majors, as well as our first year celebrating Information Technology & Web Science students within the Lally community.

A special thank you to student speakers Heman Kolla and Ella Graff for sharing reflections that captured the innovation, resilience, and leadership of this graduating class, and to keynote speaker Edgar Ancona ’74 for sharing lessons on leadership, adaptability, and lifelong learning. 👏

We also proudly recognize this year’s award recipients for their excellence in scholarship, teaching, innovation, leadership, and service. From the Teaching Excellence Awards presented to Dr. Lydia Manikonda and Dr. Brian Clark to the many student honors celebrating achievement across the Lally community, this year’s celebration highlighted the incredible impact of our students, faculty, and scholars. ✨

Congratulations to all our graduates and award recipients, we cannot wait to see the impact you continue to make!

Lally was pleased to host Dr. Simon Parker, Professor of Entrepreneurship at Ivey Business School and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Venturing (one of the top-tier journals in the entrepreneurship field), for a visit and research seminar. 💡

Professor Parker delivered a talk on Inheritance Rights and Women’s Entrepreneurship, highlighting how women’s property rights, not just financial constraints, play a key role in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Lally is a forerunner in entrepreneurship research and pedagogy, and visits by thought leaders such as Dr. Parker sustain this rich history and tradition 📚

Dr. Parker met with Lally faculty and Ph.D. students, stimulating several engaging and insightful discussions. Pictured below, the conversation continued over lunch with Murali Chari, Shyam Kumar, and Ph.D. student Vitor Ferreira 🍽️
