I got a good bit of work done on the base today. I made myself laugh out loud when I realized I’d cut a 1.5”x3” tenon instead of a 2”x3” tenon. But I glued on some scraps and fixed it - no problem! Then I cut the rest of the tenons on the posts and I did the layout for the top supports. The last picture is the first two pieces of the table extension system cut to size.
(Plus I got the next stage of finishing done on that Christmas present! But no pics of that until after Christmas!)

Got to spend some time in the shop today. Got the feet for the laid out, rough cut, and the mortises chopped (by hand). I should have the table base finished sometime this week or next.

Finally back in the shop after the holiday! Had a bad glue up on the leg blank for the and . I had to resaw it and glue it again; but it came out alright
