Dan Patterson, owner of Upstate Bicycle Works in Troy, NY, (he's also a software dude) was launching a bike shop management SAAS and came looking for a killer logo. But we realized he also needed the right name and brand to launch it successfully. So I rolled up my right pant leg and explored naming, trademark direction, and created a moniker and brand system built to give the platform real identity.
