Gentle reminder that Fall is coming. Cooler days, the air crisp and scented with humus and leaves and drifting smoke from evening fires. The forest sounds different then too — soon we will begin hearing the nighttime crickets, the warmer it is the faster they play, as if urging us along to do alllllll the things and keep up with them — but come Fall their song is a slow, soothing chime, perhaps one note a second in time, the gentle rhythm inviting us all to slow down and enjoy the brevity of this special season.
T & J’s wedding was the sweetest — surrounded by great people, loving people. Rain came and went most all day, but cleared just in time for us to set ceremony chairs just before guests began to arrive.
The sunlight effect after rain is one of the best!
