Traverse Together
If City Proposals 1 & 2 pass, we stand to lose millions of dollars each year. Vote No on City Proposals 1 & 2— we can’t afford it!
The election didn’t go our way, and we respect the choice voters made. However, we remain concerned about the uncertainty this change brings, especially given the legal questions on the ballot proposals raised by the attorney general. Clearly, there’s still a lot of misunderstanding around Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and its benefits to our community. We remain committed to helping clarify the advantages of these tools as we move forward. Traverse City’s resilience and engagement will see us through the challenges ahead.
We thank everyone who contributed their time and energy to this campaign, and to the citizens who supported the cause.

DDA TIF: For every dollar the city dedicates to the DDA plan, our regional partners invest another dollar.
