The brothers owned several bicycle shops in Dayton, Ohio, before manufacturing and designing bicycles. As everyone knows the Wright brothers were creative and ambitious and many of the significant innovations in cycling are the fruit of their labor. Their meteoric success later on, enabled them to invest a large portion of money to fund their more ambitious project - travel in the sky.
