One thing that you'll learn about Legit Food: I LOVE making charcuterie displays. I source a variety of meat, cheeses, and accouterments that pair perfectly together.

I'm a food science nerd.
My sourdough starter's name is Lenny.
I teach butchery at Great Lakes Culinary Institute (I specialized in butchery during my career)
My favorite country to visit is Italy (specifically the Umbria region)
You can most likely find me at Mundos Roasting company in the mornings doing computer work and drinking a cortado.
In a past life, I wanted to be a wedding planner (I planned my own wedding and curated a team to orchestrate (thank you, it was an amazing day 💜))
I didn't always know I wanted to be a chef, but I did know I wanted to learn how to entertain and make food that brings nostalgic memories flooding back when you take the first bite.
