We are looking for a motivated, people-oriented insurance sales professional to join the expanding Canopy team! As our new Health Insurance Agent, your role will involve selling policies to fresh leads and current clients, crafting tailored coverage plans, and supporting marketing and operations initiatives for the department 🙌
Responsibilities include:
• Selling tailored life and health insurance policies to individuals and businesses
• Advising clients on options to create adequate, sustainable coverage
• Making warm calls to leads and cold calls to build a client base
• Assisting with marketing, presentations, and client maintenance
• Supporting the property and casualty divisions with administration and marketing
• Helping build the life and health team and emerging as a leader
Requirements:
• Life and health insurance license preferred (but not required)
• Proven sales ability and willingness to make connections
• Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and creative marketing instincts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Desire for long-term growth, development, and success
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to grow with our reputable agency. The compensation package includes an unlimited earning potential based on performance and sales. Please note, the right person for this position will be required to work out of the Towson office a minimum of two times per week!
