I love how this book captures the feelings of humans and animals when a pet is adopted into a forever home. I love how this book precisely captures how unique and happy adopting a pet makes a family as well as a pet. My daughter realized the importance of only adopting a pet that you can guarantee a forever home instead of wanting to adopt them all even if she couldn't take care of them.
