On this day, we join hands all around the world to celebrate our loved ones who were specially blessed with an extra chromosome. Throughout the world people organize and participate in activities and events to raise public awareness and create a single global voice for advocating for the rights, inclusion and well being of people with Down syndrome. The students and staff of Gardena High School will celebrate by wearing blue and yellow to draw awareness to the cause.
