Honoring Entrepreneurship and Economic Mobility during Black History Month
Madam C.J. Walker didn't just create hair products; she built a national empire, becoming America's first documented self-made female millionaire and creating thousands of jobs. Her entrepreneurial spirit paved the way for Black business leaders in every industry. Our CTE programs at SoCal ROC aim to ignite that same spirit of innovation and enterprise in all our students.

It’s a paws-itive day at SoCal ROC! 🐾
A huge thank you to Redondo Beach USD Board of Education Vice President, Mr. Byung Cho, for bringing his adorable dog, Koda, to our Pet Health & Grooming program for some puppy pampering.
Our skilled students gave Koda a fresh shampoo and a tidy trim, showcasing the hands-on learning that happens here every day. We are so grateful for the active support and engagement of our Joint Powers Authority (JPA) board members. Seeing our programs in action means everything!
