SCLRR Stuart is still looking for his furever home! Stop and take a 👀!

Hi!! I'm Stuart! I was found wandering in the desert scared, skinny and thirsty. A Good Samaritan coaxed me into her yard and the rest is history!! I am a happy, 1 year old neutered Lab mix! I weigh 48 lb. I get along great with other dogs, big and small. I live with a dog-savvy kitty, so I give her plenty of space! I also live with a 3-year-old Lab, plus two grouchy senior dogs who have made it very clear they weren't interested in my puppy antics---so I leave them alone, too! But my foster brother and I have a blast playing and running around together! I would definitely benefit from a sibling to show me the ropes!
I love my people! I am very cuddly and gentle and I love to go wherever you go. But I'm also comfortable and calm while you're gone. I love sleeping on my dog bed in your room, by your feet (or couch if you let me), while you're watching TV. When you're ready to sip a coffee or wind down for the evening, I'll place my head on your leg for scratches and pets.

I am crate trained, leash trained, potty/dog door trained and respectful in the house. My foster mom says I am super smart and am learning new tricks every day! Ask me to sit pretty!

I love going on car rides. Leave the door open too long and I'll hop in invited or not!

My foster mom says I am a very good house dog. I will play in the house, but if you ask me to stop I will. I am not destructive, but I am a grand champion counter surfer!

I like to bark when I think there is neighborhood nonsense you should know about or when you have new people come over. I can get overwhelmed with lots of new people all at once and I'll stick to you for comfort and relax a little when you tell me it's ok. I'm getting more confident every day!

We went to a dog park and at first I was a little overwhelmed. But after a few minutes, I was the life of the party!

My recall is about 80%, and I tend to 'puppy' sometimes, but I do want to come to you and I get super excited when you lavish me with praise! Oh! And I am very treat motivated!

If you think I'm the goodest boy for you, hit me up!! Love, Stuart

Stuart's foster Mom took him to run some errands and he was the perfect helper. We are hoping his furever family's see just what a great family member he would make!

Meet Princess Peach, a beautiful 3 yr old female at 57 lb.
Princess Peach is a petite little firecracker with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She's spunky, playful, and full of puppy-like energy. When she's excited to see her people, she REALLY lets you know - expect happy jumps, kisses, and lots of enthusiasm. She absolutely adores human attention and loves hard.

Once she gets her wiggles out (usually just a few minutes), she settles into being the sweetest companion. She loves following her people around the house and always wants to be part of whatever you're doing. At nap time, she's happiest curled up beside you on the floor or sneaking onto the couch for cuddles if she thinks she can get away with it.

Princess Peach is potty trained and crate trained. She may whine a little in her crate at first, but it's only because she wants reassurance that her people are still nearby. She's very people-oriented and bonds deeply with her humans. She is still working on leash manners and commands, but she's improving every day. When she gets overly excited, she can sometimes jump and do little playful 'pinches' with her mouth while walking or during cuddle time. It's not aggression - just excitement and overstimulation - and she continues to learn better ways to express herself.

With other dogs, Princess Peach does best with respectful personalities. She isn't interested in being dominant, but she also has enough confidence that she won't simply shrink away in new situations. She would likely do well with a balanced canine companion or as the spoiled princess of a solo-dog home where she can soak up all the attention herself.

Princess Peach would make an amazing companion for someone who wants a loyal little shadow with lots of personality, affection, and sass. She's still learning, still growing, and every single day she becomes a better girl than the day before.
