It was a pleasure to talk about the U.S. Constitution today at an America at 250 celebration in Alma.

Today, the U.S. Senate confirmed Tony Powell, Kansas Solicitor General, to the federal bench. They confirmed KBI Director Tony Mattivi to the bench the day before. They are great Kansans with distinguished records of public service. It has been an honor to work closely with both of them. I am confident they will be exceptional federal judges serving the people of Kansas.
