Took my new 135mm Plena to Top City Dogs FastCAT last night just to see what it could do and 🤤 I can't believe it took me so long to get my hands on this lens!!

I'm *still* powering through this seemingly never-ending game of catch up, but I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Big thanks again to everyone who is being so patient with their orders!

Home again, home again after another whirlwind UKI adventure, this time working under the amazing Element Photography to cover the UKI Midwest Cup!

This event caps off the first half of 2026 and all I can say is WOW. The whole year has been full of such wonderful events -- where I get to run my wild dog, collaborate with some amazing other creatives and somehow make this crazy dream a reality -- and it's only halfway over with even more incredible events on the way.

We will be enjoying a few weeks at home before it's back on the road, slapping on our 2nd shooter hat yet again with the Twin Eyes Photography crew for my THIRD year behind the camera at the illustrious KLIMB Classic 2026! This event always feels a little bit like Dog Sport Summer Camp to me.. who can I expect to see this year?! 📸

Working my way through some orders from my most recent agility trial to get in the mood for this weekend — catch me covering the UKI Midwest Cup with the Element Dog Photography crew! Covering these UKI events for the past 3 years as a second shooter has been such a cool experience and I’m looking forward to seeing old friends, raiding some of my favorite vendors, but most of all, I’m excited to see these incredible teams compete!��

I’ll be home next week, ready to dive head first into the first half of my Summer Vacation — regular full sessions will be opening back up, I will be finding time to reschedule the Double Exposure Portraits and I’ve got a really rad Sportraits day in the making!

I've got package deals and a discount code for you, but I do apologize -- dogs are all sorted, but names ARE NOT alphabetized and that list is a mess! Regarding incoming orders, I will be in Missouri covering a NASDA event this weekend *plus* I'm working on fulfilling a couple of rather large private portrait galleries -- so while photos will always be delivered in my promised 5 day window, they might not be going out in my usual under-12-hours time frame! And I will be catching up completely on outstanding event orders this evening!

Once again, big huge thank you to WAG for inviting me out to cover these events -- it's a great group and even though I don't run my own boys seriously at ALL, my agility cup always overfloweth with inspiration after a weekend watching them all run. Can't wait to see them again in August!
