🏁 NASCAR Youth Series Dirt National at Blackbird Recap 🏁

Overall, it was a solid weekend on a very tricky, small track where passing was extremely difficult. We’re proud of the effort Madden put in all week and grateful for everyone who helped make the trip possible.

🏎️ Heavy Honda
Started P7 and finished P6. We just couldn’t get the car moving forward on the very wet and slimy track conditions, but Madden stayed consistent and brought it home.

🏎️ Heavy 160
Starting from P9, Madden charged his way to 2nd place. A late-race restart shuffled us to the outside lane, and unfortunately we ended up with a heartbreaking 4th-place finish.

🏎️ Unrestricted Animal
Madden raced near the front all race long and held 2nd place for much of the event. Another late-race restart changed everything with just six laps to go, and we slipped back to finish 6th.

🏎️ Formula Mod
This was Madden’s first time ever racing a Formula Mod on dirt and only his second time racing one, period. Early issues in the heat, would put us at the tail of the field for the start at 12th, but Madden stayed patient, ran a clean race, and drove his way to a 6th-place finish.

We’ll take what we learned, make some improvements, and get ready for the next challenge.

🏁 We’ve made it to New Castle, Delaware! 🏁

Madden is competing this weekend with the NASCAR Youth Series at Blackbird Quarter Midget Race Club for the first dirt stop of the 2026 National Tour!

Today is parking and setup day, and the racing action begins tomorrow. Madden will be taking on some of the best young drivers from across the country as he competes in five classes:

🏎️ Heavy 160
🏎️ Heavy World Formula
🏎️ Unrestricted Animal
🏎️ Formula Mod
