Established by former Governor Robert Bennett and Gary Sherrer, and supported and administered by the Kansas Chamber, the Program is celebrating its fifth decade of educating and motivating Kansas leaders from all four corners of the state. Leadership Kansas Class of 2025 wrapped up an incredible Northeast Session in Topeka!
From exploring innovation at Washburn University and the KBI Forensic Science Center to engaging with state leaders at the Capitol and Governor’s Office, this session showcased the heart of Kansas leadership.
We also toured MARS and Hills Pet Nutrition, learned about youth mental health at Family Service & Guidance Center, and connected with alumni during a special dinner. These experiences reflect our mission: to develop, motivate, and connect leaders who will strengthen Kansas communities and businesses.

On Nov. 18, Leadership Kansas Class of 2025 alum Dr. Jon D. North was installed as the sixth president of MidAmerica Nazarene University. His inaugural address focused on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide hearts and minds at MNU now and in the future.
