Classic truck.
Modern 5.3 power.
Holley EFI to control it all.

This 1972 K20 came in LS swapped with Holley EFI and ready for a proper custom dyno tune. But before tuning could even begin, we found an issue with an O2 sensor that had to be corrected first.

And that’s the thing with swaps — details matter.

Bad sensor data = bad tuning.
And bad tuning = bad drivability.

So before making power, we made sure the foundation was right.

Once the O2 issue was resolved:
Holley EFI calibration was dialed in
Cold starts cleaned up
Idle stabilized
Throttle response sharpened
Power delivery smoothed out

Now this old K20 has modern power and modern drivability to match.

Only thing left?
It could definitely use some modern brakes to keep up with that 5.3 power. 😎

At Lsxkilr Custom Calibrations, we don’t just tune them — we make sure they’re ready to be tuned.

Factory OBD1.
Procharged.
Still getting a proper custom tune.

This Foxbody Mustang came in boosted with a Procharger and still running the factory OBD1 PCM — and yes… we still tune these.

A lot of shops won’t touch older platforms.
Especially boosted OBD1 setups.
But these cars are still very much alive — and when tuned correctly, they run incredibly well.

With a Procharger on an OBD1 Foxbody:
Fueling must be dialed in carefully
Timing needs adjusted for boost
Drivability needs refined
Power delivery needs smoothed out

This isn’t a canned tune situation. It takes real calibration experience.

At Lsxkilr Custom Calibrations, we dialed this combo in the right way so it drives clean and pulls hard.

Boost fueling corrected
Timing optimized
Throttle response sharpened
Smooth power delivery

Old platform…
modern performance.

Yes — we still tune OBD1 Foxbodies.

Long tubes.
Bolt-ons.
4WD Coyote.

This 2023 F-150 5.0 came in with long tube headers and supporting bolt-ons, then went straight onto the dyno for a custom calibration. Once airflow is increased on these trucks, the factory tune no longer matches the combo — especially on a 4WD setup.

Airflow increases
Torque curve changes
Shift strategy needs adjusted
Drivability needs refined

Without proper tuning, bolt-ons and headers don’t reach their full potential.

At Lsxkilr Custom Calibrations, we dialed in this 4WD Coyote under real load so everything works together the way it should.

Fueling corrected for header airflow
Throttle response sharpened
Shift strategy refined
Smooth power delivery across the RPM range

No canned tunes.
No guessing.
Just a 5.0 F-150 that pulls harder everywhere.

If your truck has long tubes or bolt-ons, don’t leave power on the table…

Long tube headers installed…
now the 6.2 can finally breathe.

This 2017 Silverado 6.2 came in after long tube headers were added and needed a proper custom dyno calibration to match the new airflow. These 6.2 trucks respond extremely well to headers — but only when the tune is adjusted correctly.

Once long tubes are installed:
Airflow increases
Fueling requirements change
Torque curve shifts
Factory calibration is no longer optimized

That’s when drivability issues and lost potential show up if it isn’t tuned.

At Lsxkilr Custom Calibrations, we dialed this 6.2 in under real dyno load so everything works together the way it should.

Fueling corrected for header airflow
Throttle response sharpened
Shift strategy refined
Smooth power delivery across the RPM range

No canned files.
No guessing.
Just a 6.2 Silverado that pulls harder everywhere.

Bolt-ons added…
now it’s time to make them actually work.

This F-150 came in with performance upgrades and needed a custom dyno tune to tie everything together. Once airflow changes and larger tires are added, the factory calibration just doesn’t match anymore.

Throttle response feels lazy
Shift points don’t match the power
Power delivery isn’t smooth
Mods don’t feel fully utilized

That’s where proper dyno tuning makes the difference.

At Lsxkilr Custom Calibrations, we dial in trucks like this under real load so everything works together the way it should.

Throttle response sharpened
Shift strategy corrected
Fueling matched to the combo
Smooth power delivery

No canned tunes.
No guessing.
Just an F-150 that finally drives the way it should.

Big block power…
modern EFI control.

This 454-powered Caprice came in running Holley EFI and ready for a proper custom dyno tune. Big block setups like this benefit hugely from EFI — but only when the calibration is dialed in correctly.

Cold start behavior
Idle stability
Throttle response
Fueling under load

All of that depends on the tune.

Without proper calibration, even a strong 454 can feel rough and inconsistent. With Holley EFI tuned correctly, these big blocks drive smoother while still making serious torque.

At Lsxkilr Custom Calibrations, we dialed this combo in under real dyno load so it runs clean and pulls hard.

Cold starts cleaned up
Idle stabilized
Fueling matched
Smooth torque delivery

No guessing.
No street-only tuning.
Just a big block Caprice running modern.

Old school 454 torque… with modern drivability.
