Today I put my thinking cap on and my passenger pegs down for Renee Good and hit the backroads with my good man. Wearing a t shirt I bought to honor Renee Good shortly after she was murdered exercising her inalienable rights, the shirt says Good Trouble lives on. As I rode i thought about Renee and the John Lewis quote about neccessary trouble. John Brown and John Lewis at the top of my personal list of heroes, right up there with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Renee, Lewis and Brown were all in my heart and on my mind when we headed out and since I can not think of them without It leading to thoughts of MLK, he was with us too. Each dared challenge the status qo, living life looking out for others , loving their neighbors as much (maybe more) than themselves. Among them, only Lewis made it to see his golden years. Like MLK , BROWN and GOOD, were also killed before they had the chance to grow old, each for no better reason than to set an example intended to discourage others from daring to demand social justice and the blessings of liberty for all of us equally. Consider if you will, all the good each sent into the world while they were here then imagine what they might have done had they been allowed to live into old age as John Lewis was able to do. It was a beautiful day for a motorcicle ride, and there aint no better distraction from the crazy going on in the world than putting on the thinking cap and listening to the wind whisper its wisdom along the way . Those I choose to carry with me on my adventures this summer may change but my pegs will remain down for those who gave up their tomorrows for my today.
AZ always ride safe, stay well and hydrate; enjoy the adventure, steer clear when you can, ride through when you must, breathe deep and dont add to the chaos!

A ride of this magnitude doesn’t happen overnight—it takes months of planning, preparation, and commitment.
While much of this journey may be ridden solo, there is strength in riding together. More riders means greater visibility, shared purpose, and safety in numbers.
We invite you to be part of something meaningful.
Join us along the route—ride a few miles or a full day—as we make our way to Washington, DC for the 2026 Ride to Honor, Respect and Protect.
