Update from Angie-
Our beloved mother and Mom, Ema, and Sara Black, went to be with Jesus surrounded by family. We take comfort in knowing she is in heaven while we grieve her earthly presence. We will post her arrangements once finalized and ask for continued prayers for the family and all who loved her. Know we are seeing the texts and calls from all that loved her and the family and we ask for patience in getting back to you all...there's a lot of you! Thank you for all the support during this time.

Our dear Sara Black (our long time social worker & Director who retired in 2018), is currently on hospice.

This is from her daughter Angie-

She’s not awake but I know she can hear what we say so if y'all wanted to get some letters from birth moms or adoptive parents that we could read to her I know she would love that.

She’s is in an in patient hospice care facility right now and will hopefully stay there until the end. My nephew’s wife works there and is making sure she is getting the best of care!

We have a new waiting family!

Hi, we’re Oga and Nicole.

We’re deeply grateful for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption. This journey is something we don’t take lightly—it’s rooted in love, faith, and a genuine desire to provide a safe, nurturing, and joy-filled home.

Our story began in the parking lot of a small church in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and nearly 12 years later, we’re still building a life centered on God, purpose, and each other. Oga is an instructional design engineer and also helps lead a foundation that creates opportunities for college students in Nigeria to share God’s love through music and community outreach. Nicole is a life coach with a private practice, walking alongside women and teens as they grow in their personal and spiritual lives. We both work from home, which allows us to be present, intentional, and deeply involved in the life we’re building.

Our home is filled with laughter, music, and connection. We love traveling, movie nights, sports, dancing in the living room, quiet walks, and getting lost in a good book. Oga brings a thoughtful, steady presence—he’s the scholar of our home—while Nicole brings creativity, warmth, and energy.

Family means everything to us. We’re both very close to our families and cherish time spent celebrating birthdays, holidays, and everyday moments together. We’re also actively involved in our church community, where we’ve both had the privilege of serving—Nicole with youth, media, and missions, and Oga through small group leadership.

More than anything, we want to say thank you. We see your strength, your courage, and your love. We are praying for you, and we honor whatever this journey looks like for you. We would be truly grateful for the opportunity to meet you and, in some way, become part of your story.
