My youngest has been asking me forever to join her with digital art. She showed me the basics, and I have to say she was right. I like it. It took me awhile to figure out how to blend colors. It’s hard for me because smudging paint with my fingers or a dry brush is so much easier for me. The only perk I find to drawing on an iPad is the undo button. Here are a few of my creations. I do plan on painting these on canvas later on.

I had a special painting partner today. 😸The last few weeks I’ve been practicing on a woodland fairy. My family liked her white like a ghost, so in the bottom painting I went back to white, with some grey shading. I’ll pick her back up tomorrow and rework some areas.

Shabby chic sneak peek! The inside is a pretty muted vintage duck egg color. More pics to come when the inside and k***s are finished.

I finished my seed storage box last week. I’m happy with how it turned out. I first thought I’d paint veggies, herbs, or a sprout. But in the end I just decided to let my imagination take over. I painted a base with Dixie Belle Paint Company cotton, drop cloth, burlap, and pinecone. Then I used evergreen and evergreen mixed with drop cloth for my green blades. Rusty nail, apricot, and soft pink layered for my made up flower or cattail, however you see it. Finished with copper gilding on the handle and latch, and Spring Dragonflies by Re•design with Prima®️
