Badass Cass

It’s been a month already. A few weeks before Dad passed, I told him I got asked to join Toledo’s Elektrick Mayhem. I didn’t even need to hesitate, wasn’t nervous. I knew it would be the right fit for me, and so far it has. Dad was excited. He knew it would be a good thing. I needed it. He was proud and encouraging. We had plans for him and mom to deliver my drums before the first gig…literally in talks two days before he died. In the end I brought all my gear out last week. But I was so looking forward to him being there…and it won’t ever happen. and that wrecks me. 💔

➡️This isn’t how I wanted to announce the new band I’m in, but the universe works in sh*tty ways lol. Anyway, first gig is @ Papa’s Tavern in East Toledo. The 19th annual Papapalooza ft. a whole bunch of other area bands AND a car show on 5/23!!! ⬅️
