(December 24, 1969 – July 6, 2026) 🕊️

Kevin was widely recognized for his work with Finnish vocalist Tarja Turunen, Chown was a member of Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats, the funk-rock fusion group featuring drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and collaborated with artists including Paul Gilbert, Sebastian Bach, Tony MacAlpine, Chuck Berry, Ted Nugent, Uncle Kracker, and many others. He was also an important figure in progressive metal through bands such as Edwin Dare and Artension, while contributing to projects like Cosmosquad, Der Elefant, Steelheart, and Bleeding Harp...🎸
