This year, we're excited to welcome Morning Glory back to the skies over Tigard, piloted by Laura Hancock and proudly representing the American Ballooning Community, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation of balloonists. ✨

For many years, Morning Glory was owned and flown by Laura Hancock and Gerald Bales, who attended the Tigard Festival of Balloons 11 times and became familiar faces in our ballooning family. When they retired from ballooning, they made a remarkable gift—donating Morning Glory to the American Ballooning Community so that the balloon could continue inspiring future pilots, crew members, and balloon enthusiasts. ❤️🎈

Today, Morning Glory continues its journey, proving that a balloon's legacy can live on long after its original owners have retired.
