Picture Perfect Birth

A year ago today I was able to photograph my first birth! It was a monumental day in my life and I didn't even realize it at the time. Thanks to baby E and her amazing mommy (who is now one of my best friends), I was able to attend her birth and capture all the beautiful moments. This started my year in motion so that I would be able to attend 6 more amazing births! I feel like I was put on this path for a reason. I have met some amazing families and women who I have become close friends with! Because of all these amazing people the past year of my life has been one of the best! I look forward to the future and all the births and all the amazing memories I will get to capture! Thank you to all you amazing momma's that trusted me to tell your story! Thank you to the midwives, doulas and other birth workers that have referred me to families and for your encouraging words! I am sure looking forward to another amazing year!! As I am preparing for another birth here shortly I had a realization of how truly lucky I am to be part of all these beautiful births. My current client texted me a picture of her 36 week ultrasound to show me that her beautiful baby girl has chubby darling cheeks. 😊 I am so passionate about birth, it is such a beautiful and miraculous experience of life. But working with these amazing families is what makes this job so amazing!! I can't wait to meet this little girl!

Portraiture isn't really my thing and I will be the first to admit that I have a lot to learn! But, it didn't stop me from capturing my niece and all her cuteness while she was here visiting!!!
