For years I’ve been wanting to go to in San Francisco. It did not disappoint. 🩵

I loved this whole experience!! Especially Maryam with the egg. At the bottom of the frame her name is written in Aramaic:

ܡܪܝܡ ܡܓܕܠܝܬܐ
Maryam Magdalyta

Which translates to Mary Magdalene.

This is the language closest to what Yeshua and Mary Magdalene would have spoken, which makes this icon especially potent because it’s locating her in her original voice world, before centuries of reinterpretation.

The egg she holds is also intentional: an ancient symbol of resurrection, new life, and revelation. In Eastern Christianity, Mary Magdalene is often called “Equal to the Apostles” and the first witness - the one who carried the news before it became doctrine.

There’s also a replica of the labyrinth at Chartes Cathedral in France.

You don’t need to wake up more.
You need your nervous system to feel safe enough to live what’s already awake within you.

The body is a spiritual technology. Awakening isn’t as ending away from it. That’s death of the body. It’s staying present inside it.

When your body becomes a place of safety,
you become a clear channel, able to hold more of the electrical current of Creation without fragmenting, dissociating, or burning out.

Life force energy is a current.

And you are the live wire. 🌹🩵🙏🏼

The body is a spiritual technology and safety is what allows the current to flow. And by safety I mean becoming a safe space for yourself.

This is the work I’m devoted to now…teaching the body how to stay. Something I’ve mastered and I’m watching it change my being from the inside out.
