Exercising regularly involves engaging in physical activities consistently, aiming for most days of the week, to maintain or improve one’s physical fitness, health, and overall well-being. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recommend that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity, like brisk walking, or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity, such as running, each week, along with muscle-strengthening activities on two or more days a week.
