In the first quarter of this year, we successfully provided $6.1M+ in funding to Navajo homeowners through the Navajo Homeowner Assistance Fund (NHAF). 48 homeowners received NHAF grants.

This brings our total number of homeowners supported through the NHAF program to 365, with $17.9M+ in deployed funding since the program began in 2021.

With the NHAF program scheduled to end on September 30, 2026, we will continue to review applications and serve homeowners in the months ahead.

The portal is now open for the Mortgage Principal Reduction Assistance program only!

If you are an enrolled Navajo Nation tribal member, have an outstanding principal loan balance on your primary home located on the Navajo Nation, and have experienced a COVID-related financial hardship any time after January 21, 2020, the Navajo Homeowner Assistance Fund (NHAF) may be able to help pay off up to $150,000 of your remaining home loan. Must meet all eligibility requirements.
