Of over 200 student presentations given at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Leonel was awarded the Winner for Outstanding Poster and Presentation in materials science for his work investigating metal-organic frameworks used for CO2 capture in efforts to mitigate climate change. šŸŒ

ASU graduate student to explore novel materials with Seaborg Institute Fellowship Recently named a 2023 Seaborg Fellow, ASU doctoral candidate Gerson Leonel will spend the summer at Los Alamos National Laboratory to study nuclear science.

's Sun Devil Sparks were just named the winners of the North American division of the Schneider Electric Go Green competition! 🄳 In the fall, they will travel to one of Schneider’s overseas headquarters to compete against seven other teams from all over the world in the global finals.
