🐠 Nobody likes a messy or cluttered tank. A reef aquarium tank should be a beautiful piece of furniture for your home or office. The best way to keep it that way is to be consistent from the beginning. Keep it seamless. 🐠

🐠 Painting or installing a black vinyl background onto your tank will provide a clean and dark horizon to set your aquascaping against. It acts as camouflage for the inside and a divider from any mess of wires or hoses that might be running down the back of your tank on the outside. 🐠

🐠 Most equipment already comes in black, so finding filters or pumps in this color will be pretty standard. Color matching your equipment to your background allows it to camouflage and disappear from the main line of sight. Keeping the attention on your ecosystem not on the electronics. 🐠

🐠 A fantastic bonus is filters that have compartments to hid other equipment in, for example heaters or temperature probes. Keeping the clutter contained will keep space open inside your aquarium. 🐠
