As a mom of a 13 year old girl, I often wish for a magic wand to ‘fix’ her problems. If only it were that easy. There are days when being a mama to a teen is gut wrenching. I see you. I feel. you. I am you. This is why I created Moon Child — to help give teens the tools to navigate life’s well, challenges.

There is so much ugliness in the world right now + when we rally together we are reminded that we are one—part of the same whole.

Potential is infinite, so stating that makes us feel like we are inadequate as we are. It’s time we reframe it to something like “There are opportunities everywhere, what would you chose to do knowing that?” No more blanket, hurtful statements like “you have so much potential…”
