Before the meeting or event, describe the people you're going to meet. Do most of them work in a specific industry? Are their customers other businesses or consumers? Some events—especially larger ones—have more than one segment of people attending. Typically, you can break them up into two
segments:
1) those who are interested in, or practice in the main topic area
2) vendors, or those who provide services or products to the people in segment 1
