Throwback to the summer 🩷🩷🩷

Winter has been tough this year. The start of 2026 didn’t go exactly as planned. I’m currently down with pneumonia and spending most of my days in bed, sleeping and watching the Winter Olympics ❄️. I haven’t done proper training in over two weeks and have been a bit off my socials. All my energy is going towards getting back out there. Sharing this little update because only posting the highs wouldn’t feel honest.

I can’t wait for brighter days ahead ☀️

It’s just a small setback, and I’m staying focused on recovery.

Still in prep mode, still building… but kicking off the season in style with a bucket list race.

I am lining up for IRONMAN South Africa 🇿🇦 — first race of the season on the 19th of April

Aero position dialed, legs loading… even the wildlife is curious. Season starts there 🇿🇦

If you told me 2 years ago, I would be riding outside in December, I wouldn’t have believed you.

But I found a new love. Gravel riding. Love being jn the nature. A good way to practice some bike handling.
