Patience.

The frustrating and yet incredibly eye opening theme of this season(/year?.. it’s been a long season).

Patience to know when things need to have action taken. Patience to know when things need to come to a close. Patience to know when an open door doesn’t need to be walked through. Patience to wait for a response. Patience to be slow to give a response.

I know that there is a light at this seemingly unending tunnel of stress, occasional frustrations, and confusion. I trust that God’s going to bring me through it. These seasons are always for a reason, it’s up to us to take as much learning and growth away from them as possible, and to be OKAY in the waiting.

✨ Health is Wealth ✨

I had to cut my workout short yesterday, and wanted to beat myself up about it all day. I’ve been dealing with some internal pains that are becoming a more regular occurrence. I’d put off getting it checked out because I was afraid of getting results that I potentially didn’t want to hear.

My appointments are made now, but I have to remind myself that I have a pretty great goal in mind. In fact quite a few of them. And I’m not going to be able to achieve them if I let my health fall by the wayside, and let things potentially mount up into a much more difficult to deal with issue.

So make sure that y’all are taking care of yourselves!! 💕The body is a temple, and if the foundation starts to crumble, so will the rest of the house. If something seems off, don’t ignore it, don’t downplay it for the sake of martyrdom. Take care of yourselves, both physically AND mentally, so that we can all keep going out there and crushing it! 💪🏼

This girl purchased her first car!! 🚗🥳

My parents graciously had helped pay for my first car during college so that I wouldn’t have to kill myself working full-time and trying to take a full course-load. So this was a HUGE deal for me.

I’ve never been very good at asking for or receiving help, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized more and more the maturity and release of control that comes with that. However, it feels REALLY really good to have been able to do this all on my own 🤗
